Owner and guide Derik Julian has spent years exploring, hunting, and fishing the rugged country of Southern Oregon and Northern California. With a lifelong passion for the outdoors and extensive knowledge of the land, Derik built Blacktail Heaven to share the experience, beauty, and tradition of true western hunting with others.

Nestled on breathtaking private acreage surrounded by Southern Oregon wilderness and BLM land, the property was carefully developed to support thriving wildlife habitat — including a beautiful apple orchard planted specifically to attract and sustain blacktail deer and other local wildlife. From spring turkey hunts to chasing elusive blacktail bucks in the fall, wildlife is abundant and the scenery is unforgettable.
